School Chaplaincy Service

Chaplaincy first officially began at Shailer Park State High School when the Chaplaincy Committee was formed in late 1999.  Shortly after, four committed men were appointed men were appointed as volunteer Chaplains for the school.  In 2003, a part-time Chaplain, Jeff Sorensen, was assigned to the school.  Jeff was currently employed three days per week by church, school and community support.  Jeff resigned from his position as school Chaplain at the end of 2006 to take up a new position.  In 2007 we have a new chaplain, Dale Lennon.  Dale is currently employed three days per week however you will find him around most days.  He has been organising lunch time activities with our students and the support he offers our school is greatly appreciated.  Dale is located in room F10.

The Chaplaincy is strictly non-denominational and welcomes any support to make this worthwhile venture sustainable for the future.
